SEGUNDA GUERRA MUNDIAL

The Second World War was the largest armed conflict and bloody in world history, which faced the Allied Powers and the Axis Powers, between 1939 and 1945. Armed forces from over seventy countries participated in combat aircraft, naval and land. The effect of war died about 2% of the global population of the time (about 60 million people), mostly civilians.As World War began on September 1, 1939 (some historians argue that Asia is on its face declared July 7, 1937) to end officially on September 2, 1945.

Causes of World War II to the immediate outbreak of the same are, firstly, the 1939 invasion of Poland by the Germans and the Japanese attack against China, the United States of America and the British and Dutch colonies in Asia. The Second World War broke out after these aggressive actions in response to receive a declaration of war, armed resistance or both by countries and assaulted those with whom they had treated. At first the allied countries were formed only by Poland, United Kingdom and France, while the Axis forces consisted only in Germany and Italy, united in an alliance with the Pact of Steel [1].

As the war progressed, the countries that went into it (to be on a voluntary basis, or be attacked) lined up in one of the two sides, depending on your own situation. That was the case in the United States and the USSR, attacked by Japan and Germany respectively. Some countries, like Hungary, changed their alignment in the final stages of the war. [2]
